Government Affairs Committee, MRS
Do you want to be a congressional fellow? MRS offers exciting opportunities for scientists to learn about the field of science policy by spending a year as a special legislative assistant in the United States Congress in Washington, D.C.
Attendees were invited to learn about the Materials Research Society/Optical Society of America (MRS/OSA) and the Materials Research Society/The Minerals/Metals & Materials Society (MRS/TMS) Congressional Fellowship program and hear from current and former congressional fellows about their experiences as scientists in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
