Chapter officers and faculty advisors were invited to attend a meeting of MRS University Chapter representatives on Wednesday at 12:00 noon at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. University Chapters are a vital part of MRS, providing discussion between students and faculty and promoting student interest in materials science. University chapter representatives were invited to join us to compare notes on recent activities and brainstorm on new projects and issues of common concern. Anyone interested in starting a new MRS Chapter was also welcome. For more information about MRS University Chapters, contact Lorri Smiley at firstname.lastname@example.org.
