Mingle with colleagues, enjoy good food and drink and have fun exploring science! 

Are you ready to be amused while challenging your science expertise? Do you want an opportunity to relax with your old friends and make some new ones? Attendees were invited to join us at the Student Mixer for good food and drink, while exploring interactive science activities.

Professional public educators from museum science centers teamed to provide a collection of hands-on activities and demos in materials science and nanotechnology.

University Chapter Representatives

Chapter officers and faculty advisors were invited to attend a meeting of MRS University Chapter representatives on Wednesday at 12:00 noon at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. University Chapters are a vital part of MRS, providing discussion between students and faculty and promoting student interest in materials science. University chapter representatives were invited to join us to compare notes on recent activities and brainstorm on new projects and issues of common concern.
