Talk Presentation: Transformational Research for the U.S. Energy Future

Dr. Howard Branz's program development efforts at ARPA-E include renewable and energy efficiency technologies. Branz is on assignment from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), where he is a research fellow. During 25 years at NREL, Branz has led R&D on the materials science, optical and electronic properties of photovoltaic, electrochromic, memory-switching and photoelectrochemical devices. He received his PhD in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
