MRS offers exciting opportunities for scientists to learn about the field of science policy by spending one year as a Special Legislative Assistant in the U.S. Congress in Washington, DC. 

Come learn about the MRS/OSA and MRS/TMS Congressional Fellowships and hear from current and former Fellows about their experiences as scientists in the Senate and House of Representatives.

About Ashley White

Ashley White was the 2010–2011 MRS/OSA Congressional Science and Engineering Fellow and is currently serving as the Director of Communications for the Advanced Light Source, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.  She will be joined by current and former Congressional Fellows.
