The deadline to purchase tour admission has passed.

On Wednesday, October 5, Conference attendees and companions are invited to participate in one of two optional tours. Transportation for all tours will be provided to and from the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista.

Tour Kennedy Space Center

Wednesday, October 5 | 11:30 a.m.–5:10 p.m.

Kennedy Space Center is NASA’s launch headquarters, a hub of technology and discovery where many of mankind’s greatest accomplishments take place. The tour includes NASA’s launch and landing facilities, where you will experience live shows and jaw-dropping encounters with massive rockets. You will also visit the Visitor Complex to see live action theatrical shows and an educational Astronaut Encounter briefing. Plus, you can view 10-story high rockets from all eras of space exploration in the Rocket Garden, walk through a full-size Space Shuttle mock-up, enjoy IMAX Theater space films on gigantic five-story screens and see an actual Gemini program capsule on display. Shopping and food concessions will be available for your enjoyment.

Tour package includes admission to the Kennedy Space Center; self-guided bus tour, all films at the IMAX Theater and Visitor Complex exhibits and shows; pre-function and on-site coordination; transfer via deluxe motor coaches; uniformed staff assistance; all applicable taxes and gratuities.

Event Summary
11:30 a.m.–12:40 p.m.: Transfer to Kennedy Space Center
12:40–1:10 p.m.: Check-in at group gate
1:10–4:00 p.m.: Free time to explore the Visitor Complex
4:00–5:10 p.m.: Return transfer to the hotel

Notes About this Tour

  • NASA reserved the right to alter security requirements or tour routes without notice and/or cancel an event upon (24) hour notice due to a Launch or other operational launch requirement.
  • Due to heightened security, the following items are not permitted into Kennedy Space Center: coolers, luggage or large bags, wrapped items, firearms of any type (with or without a permit – including law enforcement officers), live ammunition, pepper/mace spray, laser pointers, knives and other sharp objects, large beach umbrellas (hand held umbrellas are permitted). Backpacks are not permitted on launch days. Detailed searches will be conducted on all bags and purses. All electronic devices must be in working condition. No outside food items are permitted on property. All guests have to go through the metal detectors so please reduce the number of items you normally carry.
  • All bags, purses and other items will be opened an inspected at the Visitor Complex.
  • This tour involves walking in some locations. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.

Wild Florida Airboat & Wildlife Park

Wednesday, October 5 | 11:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Enjoy a closer look at alligators and exotic wild life as you glide through 4,200 acres of untouched nature preserve on an exclusive airboat ride. The swamp is free of any development and is 100% pure Florida wilderness. After your rides, you will have the opportunity to have your picture taken while holding a baby alligator. At the Wildlife Park, you can watch, touch and even feed some of Florida’s native land-dwelling animals, as well as various species of tropical birds

NOTE: This tour involves walking in some locations. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. 

Package includes exclusive 30 minute narrated airboat excursion on Cypress Lake; park admission to the nature park; gator demo with guests’ takeaway photo; pre-function and on-site coordination; transfer via deluxe vehicle; uniformed staff assistance; all applicable taxes and gratuities.

Event Summary

12:30–2:00 p.m.: Free time to explore the Wildlife Park with hands on gator demo and photos
2:00–3:00 p.m.: One-hour Everglades Airboat Tour on Cypress Lake
3:00–4:00 p.m.: Return transfer to the hotel
