The Materials Research Society (MRS) announces its support for the March for Science to be held on April 22, 2017, in Washington, DC, and elsewhere. Consistent with its mission, vision and core values, MRS supports peaceful and focused advocacy efforts to promote science worldwide. MRS is supportive of the published goals of the March, predicated on the goal of promoting a non-partisan, bicameral effort to increase the awareness of the need for full and sustained federal funding for the US R&D enterprise across domestic agencies.
