Jun 30, 2015, 17:17 PM
The second June issue of the Materials 360 Newsletter features news about a universal substrate that works over a substantial range of laser wavelengths for surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy, an investigation on cantilever designs that cause a reversal of dislocation pileups in microelectromechanical structures, and the application of optics techniques to manipulate electrons at the nanoscale. Also included is a US government call for “grand challenges” in the next decade of nanotechnology research.
