Biomaterials, as a field, has grown rapidly in both scope and number of researchers over the last 10 years. This panel discussion will bring together researchers from a wide range of backgrounds to discuss how they see the field of biomaterials research evolving over the next decade. To stimulate conversation, panelists will be asked to identify “grand challenges” in biomaterials, and then open the discussion to all participants. Representatives from several funding agencies will also participate in the discussion.
