At each meeting, we invite a number of government agency representatives to speak on current priorities and funding opportunities in materials research. Below, you’ll find a list of Government Agency Sessions that will be held during the 2012 MRS Spring Meeting.

Marriott Marquis, Yerba Buena Level, Salons 1/2The Department of Energy's SunShot Initiative’s mission is to develop solar energy technologies through a collaborative national push to make solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) energy technologies cost-competitive with fossil-fuel-based energy by reducing the cost of solar energy systems by ~ 75 percent before 2020.
