PLEASE NOTE
- Nonmember rates include a 1-year MRS Membership that will run from July 1, 2012 - June 30, 2013. Therefore there is no need to purchase a membership prior to registering.
- For existing members, registering at the member rate will automatically renew your membership through June 30, 2013.
On-Site Registration Rates (valid after 5 pm EST on March 23, 2012)

MRS reserves the right not to process any transaction that it determines, in its sole discretion, may violate any law or regulation applying to persons or nations on the United States Treasury Department’s Specially Designated Nationals list or any similar list maintained by the U.S. Government. On-site registration and badge pickup will be held in Moscone West, Level One during the following hours:
- Monday, April 9: 7 am – 6 pm
- Tuesday, April 10: 7:30 am – 5 pm
- Wednesday, April 11: 7:30 am – 5 pm
- Thursday, April 12: 7:30 am – 5 pm
- Friday, April 13: 7:30 am – 12 pm
To cancel all or any portion of your meeting registration order, you must notify MRS in writing of your request for a refund. The timing of your request is important in determining refund amounts. Refunds will be made upon receipt of a written refund request within the following guidelines:
Refund request received up to 10 days prior to the start of the meeting
Refund amount requested less a $35 processing fee. This fee will be waived for registrants who apply a portion of their refund to member dues or any additional MRS product or service if made at the time of the refund request. Tutorial notes are not refundable; notes will be sent after the meeting.
Refund request received less than 10 days prior to or until the conclusion of the meeting
Regular registrants will receive refund amount requested less $215 ($180 for costs already incurred by MRS to date plus $35 processing fee.) The $35 processing fee will be waived for Regular registrants who apply a portion of the refund to member dues or any additional MRS product or service if made at the time of the refund request. Students or other reduced-rate registrants are not eligible for registration fee refunds. Students or other reduced-rate registrants who request refunds on the publication portion of their order will be subject to the $35 processing fee. Tutorial notes are not refundable; notes will be sent after the meeting.
Refund request received 1 to 29 days following the conclusion of the meeting
No refunds provided. During this time period, registrants may apply a portion of the non-refundable registration fee to member dues or any additional MRS product or service. Publications and tutorial notes are not refundable; publications and notes will be sent when available after the meeting.
Refund request received more than 30 days after the conclusion of the meeting
No refunds will be provided for requests made more than 30 days after the close of the meeting.
