2008 International Materials Research Conference

The Materials Research Society (MRS) and Chinese Materials Research Society (C-MRS) hosted a new joint international conference and exhibit—MRS International Materials Research Conference. (We invite you to listen to this interview with Meeting Chair Eric Garfunkel from Azom.com, in which he provided an excellent preview of this unique event.)

Leading researchers from around the world met in China to share ideas … further dialog … and forge new interdisciplinary partnerships in these exciting and expanding fields of materials research.

  Approximately 2,000 leading scientists from 49 countries will convene during the week of June 9 in Chongqing for the MRS International Materials Research Conference (IMRC 2008), sponsored by the Materials Research Society (MRS) and the Chinese Materials Research Society (C-MRS). The conference, the first collaboration of its kind between these two prestigious scientific organizations, will run from June 9-12 at the Chongqing International Convention & Exhibition Center.
