- ASTRA - The Alliance for Science & Technology Research in America
ASTRA is a collaboration founded by MRS and other key scientific and engineering organizations in 2000. ASTRA's primary mission is to increase federal funding for R&D in the physical, mathematical and computational sciences and engineering. ASTRA has been one of the driving forces in the emerging debate over competitiveness and innovation and has succeeded in putting a "human face" on science spending. The Site offers the latest in policy analysis, R&D and STEM Education metrics (by State) and RSS feeds related to science and engineering topics and materials from ASTRA educational programs.

USINNOVATION.ORG is a project of ASTRA and complements ASTRA's main Site. usinnovation.org is linked to all major party Presidential campaigns and contains the latest polling data, State analyses, YouTube Videos and PodCasts of the candidates' positions on science, engineering and technology issues. The Site is a link to many other policy Sites and contains original ASTRA material and metrics related to innovation as well materials from ASTRA educational programs.
