Institutional IP Access

Institutional customers may establish FREE online IP access with a paid print subscription to the  MRS Bulletin and Journal of Materials Research (JMR) and purchase a subscription for IP access to the MRS Online Proceedings Library (OPL).

Information regarding subscription pricing and online access follows. Please note that institutional users are required to sign an Institutional License Agreement as well as complete an IP Identification Form before online access can be granted.  For information on these procedures, please contact Anita B. All print subscriptions to the MRS Bulletin include FREE online IP access—full text of all Bulletin articles from March 2000 to the current issue. Issues are typically posted to the Web on the 10th of the month, along with additional theme-related online resources.

All print subscriptions to the JMR include FREE online IP access—full text of all JMR articles from the Journal's inception in 1986 to the current issue.  Articles are posted approximately 4-6 weeks before the print issue arrives in the mail.

Institutions and libraries may purchase a 12-month unlimited access package to all MRS proceedings volumes/papers that are available online. That’s full-text access to over 30,000 papers published from our 1997 MRS Spring Meeting to the present, with more added daily.  The collections also includes 258 proceedings volumes (over 5,000 papers) that were never published in print format and are available online only.
