Amtrak's Newark station (NRK) is .75 miles from the Embassy Suites or 1.7 miles to Clayton Hall. Service to NRK is infrequent. More frequent service is available at Wilmington (WIL), which is about 15-20 minutes away. Car rentals are available at the train station. SEPTA, Philadelphia’s regional rail, is also available, but can be slow.
For those traveling from Baltimore, New York City, Philadelphia or Washington, D.C., Megabus is a low-cost option. The drop-off is right near Clayton Hall. Advanced booking is recommended.
For those staying at the Embassy Suites, there is a bus that goes from the Field House (across College Avenue from the hotel) to Laird Campus, where the conference will be held. The easiest stops are the Courtyard Marriott or Christiana Commons.
