How to Prepare for Your ABET Accreditation

Have you been asked to participate in your department's ABET Accreditation and you don't know what to expect during the evaluation process? Then this session is for you.

The MRS Accreditation Subcommittee serves as the Society liaison to ABET in order to provide guidance and oversight when applying engineering standards to materials science and engineering education. You do not have to register for the 2019 MRS Fall Meeting to attend this training.

Members of the subcommittee offer this training session to anyone interested in:

  • learning more about the ABET accreditation process in general
  • preparing for an upcoming accreditation visit at your Materials Science and Engineering Department
