The 12th International New Diamond and Nano Carbons Conference (NDNC 2018) was held in Flagstaff—the beautiful, vibrant and cultural hub of Northern Arizona. The Conference presented high-impact scientific and technological advances, along with critical developments to enable the application of diamond, carbon nanotube, graphene and other carbon nanostructures and related materials in a diverse range of areas. This year’s Conference featured plenary sessions, parallel topical sessions, poster sessions, an innovator session and an industrial exhibition.

The five day Conference covered:

  • Diamond and Related Materials
  • Nanocarbons, Nanodiamonds, Diamond Scaffolds, Nanocrystalline, and Diamondlike Carbon Films
  • Graphene and 2D-Materials
  • New Diamond and Nanocarbons Technology

Conference Banquet

The Conference Banquet was held in Potter’s Square, an outdoor venue within walking distance of the High Country Conference Center. With a pine forest backdrop, guests experienced unparalleled surroundings as they enjoyed delicious cuisine created with the freshest of local ingredients.

Grand Canyon Tour

An optional Grand Canyon tour was planned for Thursday, May 24. The afternoon tour included round-trip transportation, boxed lunch, licensed tour guide and all admission fees, taxes and gratuities.
