The Materials Research Society is playing a major role in bringing the education, research and industrial communities together at the 2018 MRS Spring Meeting.

Join us for exciting hands-on activities, demonstrations, information areas, seminars and workshops to engage current and future materials scientists and engineers. Find out how you can participate as we partner to bring the science of materials to the general public, explore the topics of sustainable practices and the impact of society on materials science, education and outreach.

In addition to visiting the Public Outreach Center, interact with educators, scientists and students at our hands-on activities during the Student Mixer and Hands-On Coffee Breaks.

New for the 2018 MRS Spring Meeting!

Many sustainability initiatives focus on technologies that minimize carbon footprint and energy use. In the Interactive Workshop—Designing Sustainability into Materials Research, you will learn to expand the definition of sustainability to include aspects that limit sustainable materials development, as opposed to sustainable technology development.
