Symposium Support

The MRS Symposium Support Program allows you to share in the Society’s commitment to the advancement of scientific research.
 
Support of a symposium session at the 2022 MRS Spring Meeting helped the Symposium Organizers provide a high-quality technical program and encouraged participation from researchers all over the world.

In an effort to share and discuss research across the Pacific Rim, provide networking opportunities across our communities and grow a higher level of support and awareness for materials research and innovation, MRS planned several collaborative events with materials societies from Japan, South Korea and Singapore, including joint symposia and other events.

The Symposium Support Program offers four support levels—Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Exposure and recognition are based on your level of support and the opportunities in which you choose to participate. Signature Benefits and opportunities are available for both the in-person and virtual components of the 2022 Spring Meeting.

Signature Benefits

All support levels include Signature Benefits with name recognition in the following places:

In-Person Signature Benefits

  • Symposium Support page on the MRS website
  • MRS Meeting & Exhibit Guide
  • On-site signage positioned outside the symposium room
  • Symposium technical program on the MRS website
  • A post-meeting issue of MRS Bulletin

Virtual Signature Benefits

  • Symposium Support page on the MRS website
  • Symposium Support page in the virtual platform
  • Symposium technical content area in the virtual platform
  • Symposium technical program on the MRS website
  • A post-meeting issue of MRS Bulletin

Amounts less than $1,000 do not receive Signature Benefits, but will be listed on the Symposium Support page on the MRS website.

Support Levels

Platinum—$10,000

In-Person Recognition Opportunities

  • Opportunity to submit one 5-minute presentation* in the symposium room during the meeting
    (donor must arrange with Symposium Organizers, and will not be included in the technical program)
  • Opportunity for logo recognition on MRS social media during meeting peak time, which reaches almost 300,000 viewers
  • Opportunity for a scrolling logo banner on the 2022 Spring Meeting website
  • Opportunity for logo recognition in promotion of major meeting events
  • Opportunity for logo recognition in the Meeting Scene e-newsletter, which provides on-site coverage of technical presentations and meeting events to over 25,000 readers
  • Opportunity for logo recognition in on-site signage positioned outside the symposium room
  • Opportunity for logo recognition on the Symposium Support page on the MRS website
  • Opportunity to display printed literature on a table in the symposium room
    (donors must arrange with Symposium Organizers)
